Every Fable product meets globally recognized standards for food safety, sustainability, and dietary integrity.

  • Finished goods: GFSI: FSSC 22000, Sedex

    Shiitake mushroom ingredient: BRC, Sedex

    Soy Protein Isolate ingredient: BRC, ISCC PLUS, Non-GMO tested

    Canola Oil ingredient: HACCP, Non-GMO tested

    Coconut Oil ingredient: FSSC 22000, Non-GMO tested

  • Upcycled: Upcycled products use ingredients that have full nutritional value and are safe, but for various reasons, would have gone to waste. Fable’s products are made using shiitake mushroom stems which are usually cut off from the cap and thrown out due to their tough and fibrous nature.

    Carbon neutral: Fable is proudly carbon neutral, working with Pathzero to measure, reduce, and offset our emissions. We’ve taken steps to cut what we can, like packaging, travel, and supporting lower-impact production methods, and we offset the rest through verified reforestation and renewable energy projects.
